CUSO Winter School 2025: Human-AI Collaboration
Overview
The school takes place in Champéry, Switzerland, from January 27th to January 31, 2025. This school is organized under the Doctoral Program in Computer Science of the CUSO universities. It is primarily targeted at PhD students in computer science. Students from member and associate member universities of CUSO are reimbursed their participation costs, but other PhD students and academics are welcome to participate as well.

Prof. Ujwal Gadiraju from Delft University will present an overview of the empirical pursuit of facilitating appropriate reliance in human-AI decision-making and how to design effective conversational interfaces for Human-AI collaboration. PhD. Pat Pataranutaporn from the MIT will present the notion of Cyber Psychology and current research methodologies to understand how AI can influence human psychological processes. Finally, Prof. Joseph Paradiso, director of the MIT Responsive Environment group, will provide his insights on the notion of Human-AI Collaboration to conclude this Winter School.
